How it works



We start by offering you a free one hour no obligation consultation. We listen to you carefully and ask the right questions so we fully understand your needs and how we can meet them.



We prepare a scope for the work required and propose a price. The price will be a function of the scope of work and the value we deliver through our involvement rather than the time we spend on it.



If together we are satisfied that we can meet your needs, we will ask you to enter into a price agreement with us and make payment in trust.



We do the work for the agreed price. Backed by our service assurance, we are confident you will find that Hardies Agreed Pricing delivers better value and better outcomes.

Q - Why Hardies Agreed Pricing?

A - Quite frankly, we would rather spend time helping you achieve your business goals and solve your legal problems than watching the clock and filling out timesheets. Not to mention uncertainty around legal fees leads to unhappy clients. By agreeing on a fixed price upfront, the uncertainty is eliminated.

Q - What if the scope of work changes?

A - We understand circumstances can change, especially with litigation which is often unpredictable. If circumstances change, then just like a building contract we will discuss the changes with you, and prepare a revised scope of work and propose a new price.

Q - Can you give a 100% guaranteed fixed price?

A - In most cases, yes. However, if the scope of work changes, we will always:

  • explain all the possible scenarios and their likely cost;

  • agree on a fixed price for each stage; and

  • guarantee our service delivery to you.
